I knew Nellie in the 1950's and 1960's when she was a valued employee of Ken and Mary Chapman of Chapman's Young World in Bellaire, Tx. My parents owned a store in the same shopping center as the Chapman's. Chapman's was a large children's apparel store. Nellie was more than an employee, but a treasured family member to the Chapman's. She helped with the store, their family home, and the raising of the Chapman children. I'll always remember Nellie as a sweet and kind person with a lot of patience. and expertise. RIP, Nellie
