I am so saddened to learn of Bro. Robert Jones' passing. I was so blessed and honored to know him and work with him on several projects for our beloved Jack Yates Sr. High. He was genuine, kind, intelligent, faithful, and such a joy. May the Lord welcome Bro. Jones to his eternal home in heaven. Well done thou good and faithful servant. Well done.
Rest in Peace Bob. Our friendship spans many many years and I will miss you dearly. Your legacy of kindness and support to others never be forgotten. Your life reflects your Christian walk.
Uncle Robert and my mother (Ruby Bell) were classmates, Class of "55" of Jack Yates. Uncle Robert always supported and encouraged me through all of my endeavors. He continued to keep up with my family after my mom passed away. You were a man of intelligence, class and dignity It was such an honor to have you in my life. I will miss you Uncle/Frat brother! RIH Love you always!! Lisa
Bob was my first Human Resource mentor. He was very professional, kind, and thoughtful. He wanted the best out of you.
He was so kind I asked if he would talk to this person and tell what is expected to be hired and he hired her.
He was so kind, rest in peace.
Bob Jones was my first mentor at NASA-Johnson Space Center. I learned a lot from him and kept in touch after he retired. He was a true servant leader--always helping others! May he Rest In Peace! He made a difference in so many lives! God Speed!
Thanks Bob, for your encouragement and prayers throughout the years. Wow, we go back to elementary school together. Man, we could always count on you to represent. You will always be a Godly Jack Yates Lion, representing the best God had in His plans for you! He toughened you up for the roads that He had in His plans for you to travel. I'm shoutin right now brother, celebrating God's goodness in your life. Blessings and comfort to your family and friends in the mighty name of Jesus.
We love you.
