Herbert Peter Rideaux, Jr. was born on February 2, 1948, in Opelousas, Louisiana to Herbert John Rideaux, Sr. and Mattie Pearl Rideaux. Herbert entered eternal rest on February 4, 2024.

He is survived by his mother, Mattie Pearl Rideaux; his three children NeQuida Rideaux Bradley (Levy), Loman Rideaux (Patricia), Jonathan Rideaux (Alexis); six grandchildren Kimora, Kayla, Davin, Emery Monisha, and, Tanisha; seven siblings Katherine Greene, Delores Rosaya (Willie), Mailyn Riggs (Lloyd), Genevieve Rideaux, Janet England (David), Jerome Rideaux (Dezi), Kevin Rideaux, Anna Rideaux (sister-in-law); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Rideaux, Sr. and three brothers, Brian Rideaux, Leon Rideaux, and Larry Rideaux.

Memorial Service:

Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM; Rosary starts at 10:00 AM
