Evelyn Elise Jackson, 65, passed away on August 8, 2024. She was born in Houston, TX on December 23, 1958 to Berna and Ronald Jackson. Evelyn was the second of three children and she was christened as a young child. She attended Worthing High School and graduated in 1977. She attended Prairie View A&M University and received her B.S. in Business from Texas Southern University.

She is survived by her two children, Elisa Jackson, (daughter)  Nickolaus Farris, (son) his wife, Britany Franklin, and one sister Donna Lynn Brown. She has three grandchildren, Brayden Franklin, Noelle Farris, and Brielle Farris. She is survived by her favorite nephew, D’Andre Jackson, her nieces Daphne Edwards and Verna Jackson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Farris, her parents, Berna Jackson Allen and Ronald Jackson, and her brother Ronald “Uncle Jack” Jackson. The funeral will be a private ceremony attended by close family.
