Bro. Green was a TRUE USHER in every sense of the word! I'm so proud to say that "Through it all, we truly loved each other!" Bro. Green always shared his smile, laughter and wisdom with me. He called me at work one day when I was having a hard time with the Ushers as President. (I didn't even know he knew my work number at that time, so I was stunned to hear him.) When I answered the phone, he said (without identifying himself), "Are you familiar with Joshua 1? Particularly, Joshua 1:9? Read it!" Then he hung up. We were friends before the call, but afterwards, we really became very close friends from that point forward! That's when I KNEW he loved me! Bro. Green use to say all the time about death: "Don't be sad Honey when someone has passed on. The Lord says REJOICE! Rejoice in the Lord!" And that is exactly what I am doing for you right now, Bro.
