Homer Edmondson Sr.

October 28, 1947 – August 24, 2022

Homer Edel Edmondson Sr. was born to the late Earl and Tressie Edmondson on October 28, 1947.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Tressie Edmondson; brothers, Earl Edmondson Jr. and Tommie Lee Edmondson and sisters, Onie B. Monroe and Lola Mae Edmondson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Cassandra; son, J.R. Edel Edmondson Jr.; grandchildren, Denise Hydeia Edmondson, J.R. Edel Edmondson Jr., Ramon Chavis and great granddaughter, Ryleigh A’Mari Holbert; brothers, Rev. C.L. Simpson (Gloria) and David Wayne Edmondson (Loretta) and a host of relatives and friends.

Cassie, Jr. Flip, Rev. Bo and David, Saddened to hear that my friend and dear cousin has transitioned to Glory. We have had so many fun times laughing and talking. I remember him picking me up to ride with him on the bus as he finished his route. His passengers thought I was his little sister. Jr. Boy reaping his Heavenly rewards. I will be praying for each of you. Cassie thank you for being an awesome caretaker and loving my cousin. Now you know he's got them smiling and laughing in Heaven. May God bring each of you comfort at this difficult time.
