May 2, 1948 – July 17, 2024

James Elphage was born on May 2, 1948 in Belle Rose, Louisiana to the late Joseph and Margaret Elphage, Sr.  He peacefully departed this life on July 17, 2024.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Elphage, Jr., Matthew Elphage and Byron Irvin.  Their memories were a cherished part of his life that he always carried with him.

He is survived by one brother, Michael Irvin of Los Angeles, California, who shared a bond of love and care. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

He will continue to live in the hearts of his family and loved ones as he rests in eternal peace.
