The passing of Ms Juanita was truly heartbreaking. My Deepest Condolences to the Family. Ms Juanita always wore a smile whenever I saw her. She was very soft spoken but definitely made an impact to everyone she came in contact with. In the Linedance world she was one of the sweetest I ever met. She will truly be missed. I will continue to cherish the memories ❤️❤️ Rest, Dance in Heaven.

I am truly sadden and heartbroken about the passing of Ms. Juanita. She was truly an angel on earth. She was not only a line dance instructor and choreographer but she was also a menter, mother, and friend to all of her students. To the family, stay strong and remember that you have family in the line dance community near and far that loce you. Rest in Paradise Juanita!

As a Line Dancer, Ms. Juanita was one of my 1st Line Dance memories. She helped me and my friends feel welcome in this world of Line Dancing. She was kind and always had a smile...and I will never forget the red pumps she would sometimes wear. She was class and grace and a shining example of God's Love. She will be greatly missed by many. To her family, both blood and Hardwood, may we all be encouraged...Live Well... Dance Well... and BE WELL.

Rest assured in knowing that Miss Juanita touched so many lives, in so many ways. All of her line dancers💃 have several "Miss Juanita" stories or memories. I remember that she laughed a lot. I remember she have pure swag of a 20 year old in her line dance moves! She was so gentle. I remember in class she would personally greet, with eye contact and hug EVERYONE in the class. She WON'T be forgotten here in Durham. She can't because she made such an impact, was a local line-dance community, she is a local line dance legend, and a little person with a larger than life personality. Ah my ❤ has been a little heavy since I heard. It doesn't seem fair or right. Not yet, too soon. We LOVED her. We really did.
