My mom was an amazing woman. She contributed so much in her lifetime. There are not many women that can fill her shoes. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of her life. I miss her SO much. GOD accepted her reservation. She is looking down on us and smiling. What a blessings.

Mother Mentha will truly be missed. She was extremely instrumental in my life at a young age. I have so many great memories of her including when I'd visit her at the bank off of Lucas street (hopefully that's the right street 🙂 to when she made sure that I was Queen in our fundraising event. Mother Mentha was like a grandmother to me. She never forgot about me and even taught me the importance of saving bonds. I am extremely sad that I am unable to make her homegoing celebration due to being far along in pregnancy and quite a distance away, but I know that she will be surrounded by people that are just as fond of her as I was. We are so fortunate to have been in the presence of such an amazing individual and she will be desperately missed. ~ Love, Candace the Queen (as what she would call me)
