1 entry.
To my dearest Aunt, special Aunt, The family is in deep sorrow missing you. A huge void were trying to live with. Still in deep shock, sadness. I like to give homage , honor and respect to Aunt OlaMae franklin Nixon, who came from honorable, humble beginnings on the land. Raised with dignity, respect and class. My Aunt was a wise,, intelligent, caring woman. With a lot of moral code, she ran a tight ship, did not stand any foolishness. Could take on a fight, defend /fight when need be. Strong like a boxer, tko- some1 like Tyson, Frazier, Ali, hit man Hearns, Joe Louis (smile).
The first Laila AIi
along with some Kung Fu Jujitsu Aikido ( ay kill you) skills too if pressed.
Auntie was no joke, that is one of my fond memories.
Aunt Ola Mae helped raise many children & adults. ( smile), a kind, good hearted woman with principles, dignity, & class.
Aunt Ola Mae Worked very very hard, very smart. Her and her and her siblings struggled very hard.
There is not a lazy bone in their body.
(Hayward, Ruth & Julius). It was not easy for either of them, not at all, to make a long story short.
My Ola Mae, R.N became a LVN at a young age, after diligent studies, excelled & rose to the ranks of a R.N. registered Nurse all while raising her children & some grands by herself.
My Aunt loved her work within the medical field.
Ola Mae was very caring and mindful of her patients and family and community & church family.
Very giving, would share her last with anyone nearly. Wise, intelligent, with plenty of common sense, was encouraging, caring individual.
Ola worked with the Church of God for many many years within the medical nursing and missionary unit and travelled doing so also (similar to what is currently called doctors with out borders).
I look up to Auntie as hero a warrior, judge in the family & extended family also.
There are a lot of things to recall, to numerous to name at this moment.
Too hard to express it, due to grieving and mourning.
Moreover, all the many sacrifices from Aunt Ola Mae is greatly appreciated by me & the entire family.
And, I remember them.
I will always remember that about my precious Aunt Ola Mae.
Her one and only sister ( my mother -Ruth), will, deeply, sorely and dearly miss you.
Ruthie misses their daily talks, planning and strategizing, jokes, laughs. Says she does not want you to be gone either. Your baby sister does not know what she is going to do with out you.
There were so many plans left undone to enjoy.
Time just flew.
We both wish you were here still. As Me & the entire family feels the same; Feeling you left us too soon, never wanting to part.
My mama Ruth & I both say "I Loved you and always will love you,
Until we meet again.
God rest your soul in Jesus Christ name"
Good and faithful servant of God.
Go be with loved ones and dear ones that gone on before us.
Ola go Be with our long lost Momma & be with Papa,
the brothers,
our Grands, dear aunts & uncles, close cousins, and dear friends.
Until we meet again.
Do not forget me.
I will not forget you.
Continue Guardian Angel Ola Mae.
God Bless your soul always.
Much Love & Respect.
from, your niece
Tena Smith and, baby sister Ruth Franklin Smith.
