Ms. Holly.... I'm just today finding out that you've gone home. Although we really didn't travel in the same circle in college, I'd like to think that we had a decent acquaintanceship after graduation. I won't forget the laughs we shared and the talks we had. Just know that your presence is missed and the world won't be the same without you. Your family and your fur baby have my deepest condolences and prayers and at this point you know my fur babies are up there with you. Take your rest friend, and I'll see you on the other side. --Ms. Abrams

Shantrice was an amazing person. I have known her since the year 2000. We were in the Aristocrat of Bands as freshman that year. She has always been super talented, very sweet, and lovely young lady with a great personality. She will be missed. Much love.

Shantrice was our college roommate in the "new apartments" at Tennessee State University. She was always the same- kind and funny. She had a beautiful soul. We were saddened to hear of her transition and are keeping the Holly Family in our thoughts and prayers.

We in the Gulf Coast Concert Band will always remember Shantrice as an enthusiastic member of the trumpet section. I particularly remember the day she conducted our Band on the Battleship Texas at one of the Battleship Texas Veteran's Reunions. We performed patriotic music for the veterans and their families, and one uniformed gentleman saluted her as she conducted our Band. It was a very special day for all of us.
